Rest and Recovery

The importance of Recovery

The only way your muscle can grow is if you allow them to rest. Whenever you work them out it actually tears the muscle and if you do not allow the muscle to rest and repair those tears then you will be extremely fatigued and encounter a reduced performance.

Sleep

Sleep and nutrition are the most important things you can do for yourself. Sleep not only allows your body to rest and heal but alongside that it allows you to recover your energy. This reduces your fatigue and can get you through the soreness you'll be feeling.

Rest Days

This is important to reduce the risk of overtraining as well as the risk of injury. This is good for you because it gives you a break and lets your body relax so you can continue improving and growing stronger.
